Sara Gropp is the Data Manager at Transform Consulting Group. She leads a team of data specialists at TCG and provides strategic direction on data-focused projects and tasks. Sara has deep knowledge and expertise related to evaluation, data collection and analysis, dashboard development, and capacity building. She uses that knowledge to build the skills of our data specialists, who work with our clients to make transformational change in their communities. Sara coaches individuals to improve their data literacy, and she trains large groups on how to best use data in their work.
Before becoming the Data Manager, Sara was a Data Analyst at TCG for 5 years, where she led the process of data collection, analysis, and visualization for many nonprofits and government agencies. She analyzed data and produced the best charts and tables to visualize the data and tell a story. Sara is a certified Tableau Desktop Specialist. She has used Tableau to develop many organizational and community data dashboards.
Sara has always enjoyed math and numbers, dabbling with accounting and math education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies and Business Management from Manchester University. Ultimately, she found her passion for data analysis when she started working for Transform Consulting Group in 2016. A big reason for this passion comes from knowing this data analysis work helps organizations make an impact for communities and families.
